Wichita Heights High School senior Grant Pierce made history over the weekend, becoming the first wheelchair athlete to compete against runners at the Kansas Relays on the University of Kansas campus in Lawrence.
The Kansas State High School Track Meet for all classes is coming up Friday at Wichita State University’s Cessna Stadium. But one of the state’s best relay teams won’t be competing.
