WATCH: Bishop Carroll wins soccer Regional Championship

WICHITA, Kan. (KWCH) -- Bishop Carroll takes down Maize South 2-0 to advance to the State Tournament.

Freshman forward Khloe Schuckman scored both goals for the Golden Eagles, one in the first half and one within the final minute of play.

"We have ourselves a player in Khloe Schuckman," head coach Greg Rauch said. "Maybe at the beginning of the year, to be fair, I hadn't seen her play soccer. I had only seen her play basketball, but I saw the intensity and an athlete is an athlete. She just performs. You want her on your side every time."

Schuckman was just happy to have the support of her teammates.

"I couldn't do it without the team. They just welcome me and it's awesome."

The four-seed Golden Eagles play the top-seed Valley Center Hornets in the quarterfinals Tuesday.
