ULYSSES, Kan. The Ulysses High School football team played with heavy hearts Friday night in its first home game since the death of their head coach, Jason Kenny in the off season.
Kenny died after nearly two decades leading the Tigers and serving as the Ulysses High School athletic director.
Friday night, Ulysses took care of business, honoring their former coach with a 62-14 win over Goodland. A highlight against Goodland for Kenny's son, dual-threat quarterback Koy Kenny, was a quarterback keeper for the Tigers' second touchdown.
