Top ranked Inman sneaks by Berean in top ten battle

Inman took over the top spot in the class 2A rankings this week, and were immediately met with a test from top ten 1A program Berean Tuesday night.

The two teams entered the fourth quarter with Inman just leading by a bucket, and Inman was able to do just enough to keep the lead, winning it 45-41 after a high scoring fourth quarter.

Inman just needed scoring from four players to get the win, with Mason Thiessen scoring 14 and Peyton Froese contributing 13. Zac Koontz and Kiegan Vogt dropped 10 points apiece for the Warriors.

Inman will wrap up their fall semester with a home game against Burrton Friday. Berean will try to bounce back against Wichita Classical.
