"Hesston's is really good," said Haven Head Coach Lonnie Paramore. "That's why they were ranked number one most of the season. I told my guys it would be a game of runs. The fourth quarter it seemed we finally got over the hump and made them miss a few shots."

"They adjusted their zone and we could not get any offensive rebounds," said Hesston Head Coach Greg Raliegh. "We became three dependent. If all you shoot is threes there's going to be lots of ups and downs. Our kids always battle and I'm proud of them.

"We'll go cheer Haven on at State. I love Lonnie. He's a good coach. He kicked my butt tonight."

Haven's Darby Roper led all scorers with 20 points. Wyatt Carmichael scored 12 points.
