This game was not short of offensive production as both teams were able to put points on the board before the break. Kapaun was led by junior Blake Danitschek on the night. The 6'5 shooter was automatic from behind the three-point line, rarely missing against the Buffaloes.
For Southeast, Jackie Johnson looked the same as usual, getting to the basket at will and opting for long three point shots.
Guard play was big as both teams worked quickly in transition. Grant Johnson found success slashing to the basket and finishing at the rim, often through contact,
Micah Jaques worked from the perimeter and cashed in a big three-point bucket in the first half to extend the Southeast lead.
Will Anciaux, only a freshman, controlled the boards for the Crusaders, creating second chance points for Kapaun on numerous occasions.
Kapaun finishes out the regular season on a low note, while Southeast will look to finish second in the GWAL following Bishop Carroll.
