The state's leading passer added to his lore on Friday night. With 272 total yards on the night, Hooper Schroeder crossed the 7000 yard mark for his school career to lead the Cardinals to a 42-7 victory.
Somehow, Schroeder only threw for one touchdown on the night, instead doing work on the ground to the tune of 3 rushing scores.
He wasn't the only one to go into the record books Friday night. Eric Kohncke, a German exchange student that has been leading the Cardinal defense, finished with 22 tackles on the night to give him a school record 88 on the year.
With the win in their district opener, Sedgwick improves to 5-1 ahead of game with Sublette next week. Meade will host Inman.
