Salina Central's Mike Hall steps down

After 12 years at the helm of the Mustangs, Salina Central's Mike Hall has announced his resignation. The coach made the announcement to his players on Monday morning.

Salina Central endured two straight winless seasons in 2016 and 2017.

The Mustangs have suffered three consecutive losing seasons.

Salina Central is one of the most decorated football programs in Kansas. The Mustangs have won 6 state championships and have produced players like Terence Newman, who has played 14 seasons in the NFL. Jake Sharp, a former standout at KU, also played at Salina Central.
