HOISINGTON, Kan. The Pratt Lady Greenbacks defeated the Ellinwood Lady Eagles by a score of 61 to 23 in the second girls semifinal of the Hoisington Winter Jam.

The Lady Greenbacks opened the game with an impressive 21 to 0 first quarter. They made two three pointers, five two point baskets, and five three throws. More importantly, their defense held Ellinwood scoreless.
Ellinwood finally got on the board one minute into the second quarter. They would only post seven points for the half. Pratt lead at the break 36 to 7.
The Lady Greenback offense kept firing in the third quarter as they tallied 23 points.
By the end of the game, the score was 61 to 23.
Pratt's Alli McGowan lead all scorers with 21 points. Rheagan Hoover scored 19 and Kaitlayn Rasmussen posted 12 points for the night.
Daphne Doll lead Ellinwood's scorers with 8 points.
"We got the rebounds in the first quarter and limited the second chance opportunities," said Pratt Head Coach Dustin Hildebrand on the 21 to 0 first quarter.
"We were runner's up at the Cheney tournament so it feels good to get another chance at winning a tournament."
Pratt will face an undefeated Otis-Bison for the championship on Saturday evening. Ellinwood will play Russell for third place.
