"We knew on Wednesday that Darian Holloway could come back," said Head Coach Steve Tiernan. Holloway had been out from earlier in the playoffs and was expected to be out until basketball season.
Osborne's head coach, Steve Tiernan, returned to the school this year after being in Solomon for the past four seasons. In his first year back at the helm of the Bulldogs, he takes them back to the state championship game. He previously led them to a state title in 2013.
Osborne finished as state runner-ups last year in Eight-Man Division II. They will face the Axtel Eagles who defeated three-time state champion Hanover on Friday Night.
"I have not seen the Axtel Eagles since I coached at Baileyville," said Coach Tiernan. "One of their coaches I coached as a player and he was my assistant at Soloman last year so it should be a fun week."
