Northwest offense continues to roll

WICHITA, Kan. It was five straight games of at least 55 points for the Wichita Northwest offense, and now make it six. The Grizzlies explode for a 65-26 win over Heights, continuing to dominate as the top ranked 5A team in the Catch It Kansas Rankings.

Heights did not have QB K'Vonte Baker in to start. He was in walking boot this week.

An early safety on a bad snap from Heights gave NW a 2-0 lead. Then after getting the ball back, Roy Johnson scored quickly on a nice TD run, led by a couple nice blocks by fellow running back Breece Hall.

The Grizzlies wasted no time getting the ball back, and Hall took advantage on an impressive TD run. It was quickly 16-0 Grizzlies in the 1st.

Heights finally got some momentum on offense, and RB Armaad Hubbard broke off a TD run to cap a nice clock eating drive, to give the Falcons some hope. It was 16-7 heading into the 2nd.

But Northwest quickly answered back, going for it on 4th and 11, Reagan Jones found Breece Hall wide open for a score, and Northwest never looked back.
