ROSE HILL, Kan. Wichita Collegiate scored the first eight points of the game against Rose Hill and never looked back in the 60-45 thumping Friday.

Collegiate sophomore Gradey Dick did what he does best on the second bucket of the game.

Rose Hill had the ball, but a lazy pass provided an opportunity for Dick to jump the route, steal the ball, and slam it home for an easy two points. That set the tone for the rest of the night as Collegiate led 21-7 after the first quarter.

Rose Hill was able to cut it to a six-point game at halftime, but Collegiate was just too much in the second half, as the Spartans opened the lead to 11 with two minutes to play in the game.

Collegiate plays at Clearwater on Feb. 25.

Rose Hill will host Mulvane on Feb. 27.
