Maize squeezes by Northwest rally

WICHITA, Kan.--- Maize boys basketball coming off a disappointing 2-point loss to South a couple days before, hoping to redeem themselves at the GWAL/AVCTL Challenge.
The Eagles taking on the Northwest Grizzlies.

Winston Bing kicks it out to Kyle Grill in the corner but he takes it baseline and bangs it off the board to put Maize leads 28-11.

Northwest's Jaliah Johnson sends it up from beyond the arc and his shot's just short but Demontre Stewart is there for the put back. Grizzlies trailing by 15.

Grizzlie's defense putting some pressure on Jacob Hanna so he sends it out to Bing.
Drawing some bodies, Bing slips it back underneath to Hanna who lays it in the basket.

Maize just edges out Northwest 70-67 final.
Northwest will travel to North High on December 17th.
