MAIZE, Kan. (KWCH) -- Maize South baseball sweeps Andover in the wet Wednesday double-header by the scores of 12-2 and 7-6.
In game one, Alex Epp notched two hits and batted in four runs. Dakota Harding and Colin Shields also connected for multiple hits.
The Mavs capitalized on a lot of errors in game two, scoring seven runs on only two hits. Only Hayden Bontrager knocked in multiple RBI.
Maize South improves to 11-7 in its final AVCTL league game.
Andover falls to 9-8 and will face Derby Friday.
