Before the start of the game, Mason Perez won Homecoming King along with Queen Kendra Grandview.

Pratt won the coin toss and deferred to the second half. Larned took the ball and ran five plays before punting.

The Greenbacks took over near mid-field. After seven plays, Pratt faced a third and two on the Larned 19-yard line. Quarterback Blake Coss threw a pass to Dylan Cox. The ball bounced off the hands of Cox and into the hands of Larned's Brock Skelton.

The Indians went to work, but could not move the ball far. Over seven plays, they would advance the ball but then would go back on a holding call. Or, they would not gain any yards.

Then quarterback Dillan Smith found Mason Perez on a 74-yard touchdown pass. After kicking a point after touchdown, the Indians led 7 to 0.

Each team would then trade punts to end the first quarter.

A couple of minutes into the second quarter, Pratt took over on the Larned 43-yard line. A 31-yard pass to Jarrett Bates set up a first and ten at the 12-yard line. Three plays later, Blake Coss would run a two-yard keeper to score a tying touchdown.

Larned only took two minutes to retake the lead. This time on a 42-yard pass from Smith to Brock Skelton. Another good PAT made the score 14 to 7.

Pratt went three and out on the next possession.

On the very first play of the next Larned possession, Dillan Smith found Brock Skelton again for a touchdown on a 37-yard pass. Larned went up 21 to 7 thanks to the made point after touchdown.

On the third play of the Greenbacks next possession, Coss threw an interception caught by Larned's Creighton Haney.

Larned did not waste much time when the offense got the ball next. On the very first play from scrimmage, Smith runs reverse flea-flicker with a pass to Brock Skelton for 68-yards and the touchdown.

The next Greenback possession saw the ball fall into the hands of Logan Erway of the Indians.

This time, it took two plays for Larned to add six points to the score. Mason Perez scored his second touchdown of the night on a 23-yard running play. Larned would miss their first PAT of the night after this score.

Larned would go into the locker room leading 34 to 7 at halftime.

The Indians found the endzone twice more in the second half. First a 22-yard pass play scored by Tristen Burger took the score to 40 to 7. Then Jace Snyder scored on a short two-yard rush to cap Larned's last scoring play.

Both scores saw Larned not convert for two points.

After the last score by Larned, a running clock started for the rest of the game.

Pratt found the endzone for a second time with 1:38 left in the game.

Devon Weber scored on a six-yard pass play. Isiah Cook added two points after the touchdown.

The final score of the game was 46 to 15 Larned.

"Our passing game was going tonight and I'm happy for that," said Larned Head Coach Tad Remy. "Credit to my assistants, we knew Pratt was going to be a heavy man-to-man team. We knew going for the long passes would work."

Larned improves to a record of 2-2 on the season. They face Holcomb next week.

Pratt falls to 0-4 on the season and travel to Hugoton next week.
