Lady Demons take a big win against the Panthers, 69-27

GREAT BEND, Kan. (CIK) The Dodge City Lady Demons defeated the Great Bend Lady Panthers 69 to 27 in a Western Athletic Conference game.

The game was the final home game for Great Bend.

The Lady Panthers lead the game briefly at the very beginning. A three pointer later and Dodge City took the lead and never let go.

The Lady Demons held Great Bend to only nine points in the first half. Dodge City put up 34 points in the first half.

In the third quarter, Dodge City had their largest lead of the night, 45 points.

Dodge City's Kisa Unruh lead all scorers with 18 points. Camree Johnson followed close behind with 16 points. Chidera Okoro scored 13 points.

"It's great when it all comes together," said Head Coach Kelly Snodgrass. "We played good team basketball and had 18 assists.

"Great Bend is a great driving team and put pressure on our defense. It's a tough place to play and they always seem to comeback. You're never resting easy until the final whistle.”
