The Holy War is spilling over from the football field to the tennis courts, and Clara Whitaker is leading the charge for Kapaun Mt. Carmel against Bishop Carroll.

Whitaker, who won the 5A singles championship as a freshman in 2017, again proved her dominance on the court, beating last year's 5A runner up Brittany Steven in straight sets Monday evening 6-3, 6-3.

In the featured doubles match of the dual, defending champion Eleanor Baldwin and freshman Reagan Boleski teamed up to defeat another 2017 runner-up, Carroll's Brayden and Lauren Steven. The Kapaun pairing won in straight sets 6-1, 6-1.
