Over both games of road doubleheader with Buhler, the Augusta Orioles would allow zero hits in staying undefeated, moving to 8-0 on the season.
Gracie Johnston started game one, and the future Missouri State Bear threw a gem, striking out each of the nine batters she faced in three innings of perfect ball in a 17-0 victory via run rule.
Augusta scored 10 runs in the first inning to give Johnston a big cushion before she even took the mound, adding seven more in the third to get the Orioles to the 15-run rule. It's Johnston's second no-hit game of the year, also throwing a no-hitter in Augusta's season opener.
Then in game two Morgan Pennycuff kept the momentum going, going four innings without allowing a hit in a 15-0 win for the sweep.
