Goddard girls stay undefeated with rivalry win

GODDARD, Kan. (KWCH) -- The Goddard girls improve to 7-0 on the season with the 55-31 road win over Eisenhower Friday night.

"We go in every week thinking this is a rivalry game and anything can happen, and we just go out there and play as hard as we can," senior forward Torri Vang said.

Kade Hackerott finished with a team-high 18 points, connecting on three triples. The junior guard said it was good to come off of a long break and face a heated rival.

"Anytime we can come across the highway and beat Eisenhower, it's good, so we enjoyed playing here tonight."

The third-ranked Goddard girls host Newton Tuesday night.
