Both teams started this fast out the gate with the scoring, answering each time their counterpart found the bottom of the net. That movement would ultimately stall when both teams hit a stand still deadlocked at 5.
Eisenhower's Jordan Vincent was the floor general for the Tigers, driving and creating shots for teammates or finding creases for looks at the rim. His ability to penetrate the Central defense created outside shots for sharp shooters like Ethan Stewart, who opened the scoring for Ike. A number of Tigers also contributed on the scoring effort like Cody Houser and Nick Hogan.
Opposite the Tigers was an Andover Central team who was looking to reassert itself in the 5A rankings. Entering the night the Jags used the hot hand from senior Jerome Washington who had a huge night from behind the arc.
Both teams return in 2020 when Ike takes on Andover while the Jaguars travel to Ark City.
