Goddard Eisenhower completes season sweep over Andover
Goddard Eisenhower was able to secure a big win on the road against Andover winning 35 to 27.
Much like the first game between these two teams, the three point shot was key for the Tigers. Kennedy Nicholson paced the Eisenhower attack hitting big shot after big shot on the night. Tiger Freshman Addi Verbeck also boosted Eisenhower with 11 points on the night, only trailing Nicholson by one point.
Defensively both teams made a living in the passing lane, creating turnovers off of errant passes in addition to strong blocks under the basket. Trojan Senior Emma Cunningham and Eisenhower Senior Bridgette Graham each finished the game with a handful of rejections to their credit.
Andover's offense was found mostly in guard play. Junior Mallory Woolston seemed to be able to connect from any spot on the floor in the first half of the game. She finished with 18 points.
Andover is scheduled to travel to Goddard next, while Eisenhower will face off with Andover Central.
