A fourth-inning grand slam from Shelby Blythe gave Frontenac an 8-2 lead midway through, leading to a 13-5 4A-II state championship.

The Raiders struck Haven starting pitcher Bailey Brawner for a big day in the final, scoring 11 runs in the first six innings.

The championship was the first for Frontenac in its program's history.
