Xavier Kelly, a former standout at Wichita East and now Clemson graduate, announced he will play his final season of football at the University of Arkansas Monday night.
Kelly was rated as a 4 star recruit coming out of East, signing to play for Dabo Swinney and Clemson out of high school as a top 100 recruit nationally. As a senior with the Blue Aces, Kelly had 72 tackles and 3.5 sacks.
The defensive tackle redshirted his freshman year when his team went on to win the 2017 National Championship. He was a redshirt sophomore when the Tigers hoisted the College Football Playoff National Championship Trophy again.
