Following Oregon State's game with Arizona on Sunday, former Derby standout Kennedy Brown donated her hair to Locks of Love, continuing a school tradition coinciding with their Dam Cancer game.

Oregon State head coach Scott Rueck called it "an amazingly selfless thing to do" following the game, according to osubeavers.com.
Brown, who is in the middle of her freshman season at Oregon State, went to Corvallis following a career at Derby that saw her named a McDonald's All-American and the 2019 Kansas Gatorade Player of the Year.
Brown went down with a knee injury last week, diagnosed earlier Monday as a torn ACL. She had started every game prior to the injury, averaging 6.3 points and 7.3 rebounds per contest. She was also second in the Pac-12 in blocks.
