Behind three big flies and a 9 run 5th, Eisenhower blew by Northwest in a high scoring game Thursday afternoon.

With Northwest leading 1-0 in the second, Emma Pabst kicked off the scoring for the Tigers with a three run shot to give Eisenhower a 3-1 lead. Three batters later, Alexis Mastin joined the home run party with a two-run homer of her own to make it 5-1.

Then in the fourth, trailing 6-3, Northwest joined the home run show with a Kayli Dryden two-run homer to bring the Grizzlies within one.

But in the 5th Eisenhower blew things wide open. The Tigers exploded for 9 runs, including a third homer from Faith Denning and an RBI triple from Tailey Cole to cap things in making it 15-5.

Northwest wouldn't go away, plating two runs in the bottom half of the fifth to avoid falling by run-rule, but couldn't get the deficit any closer than 7 in falling 19-12.

Eisenhower fell in the nightcap of the triangular, with Campus winning on a walkoff home run, sitting the Tigers at 11-5 on the season. Northwest also dropped to Campus Thursday, with the Grizzlies falling to 13-3 on the year.
