Andrew Wisner was nearly unhittable on the bump, and the Eisenhower Tigers's offense did the rest in a 10-0 shutout win over Maize South Tuesday.
Wisner pitched a complete 6 inning, giving up just 1 hit while striking out 11 in the win that gave Eisenhower their 4th win on the season.
The game was scoreless until the bottom of the fourth when Collin Mackey came through with the bases juiced, smacking a two-run single to left to make it 2-0 Tigers.
Then leading 3-0, Eisenhower blew things wide open in the bottom of the sixth, scoring 7 more runs to get the 10-0 win by run rule.
Eisenhower had a much tougher challenge in game two as they entered the final inning trailing 2-0, but came back and ended with with a Wade Reynolds walk-off to improve to 5-3 on the season and get the sweep on the day.
