Eisenhower girls roll past Andover

GODDARD, Kan. The Goddard Eisenhower girls basketball team used a fast first half performance to set up a dominating win over the Andover Trojans winning 55-23.

Eisenhower was aggressive on the defensive side of the ball in the first quarter, limiting the Trojans to only two first quarter points. The Tigers then turned the defensive effort into points on the offensive end.

The Tigers used a mix of players to create points against Andover. Bridgette Graham was hot out of the gate for Eisenhower both in the paint and from behind the three point line. She was responsible for the first few points the Tigers scored.

Andover tried to slow down Goddard Eisenhower but was unsuccessful in its effort.

Kennedy Nicholson, a Junior at Eisenhower pushed the tempo in transition finishing at the rim and creating open looks for her teammates in the Tiger offense. She also had a huge day from behind the arc, cashing in multiple times on open shots.
