Dodge City remains unbeaten, after coming to Wichita and knocking off West High, 35-14 Friday night.

The 8th ranked Demons keep the pace with the top teams in 6A, and they did it by taking advantage of some early turnovers to set the pace.

In the 1st, Dodge forced a fumble, which was recovered by Josh Harshberger. The Demons quickly took advantage, when Beau Foster found D'Andre Vontress on a quick strike touchdown to go up 7-0.

On the next West drive, J'Qwon Johnson had a ball ripped away on a close call of it being a catch. The officials said he had possession, fumbled, and Dodge recovered. The Demons quickly took advantage of the short field again on a Alden Knedler touchdown run, putting Dodge City up 14-0.

The Demons held that early lead the rest of the way to the 35-14 win. Dodge looks to keep the 0 in the loss column as they host Hays next week.
