Derby dominates Salina, moves on to 5-0

SALINA, Kan. Derby rolled past Salina South 55-7 to move on to 5-0 Friday night in Salina.

Running back Tre Washington put the Panthers on the board in the opening drive with a 25-yard run in just 39 seconds.

The Panthers were up 27 to 0 at half.

Salina South quarterback Terran Galloway connected with Ty Garrett for their sole score for the night with 1:28 left in the third quarter.

Derby's senior quarterback Grant Adler and Washington combined for seven touchdowns.

The Panthers will host Hutchinson next Friday.
