Collegiate escapes the shutout hosting Andale

WICHITA, Kan.--- Our week six Game of the Week did not lack action, it was just one sided as Andale controlled the game in all aspects.

The Indians are undefeated this season and haven't lost a game against the Spartans since 2015. In 2018, Andale beat Collegiate 55-0 and 2019 looked exactly the same until the last two and a half minutes of the game.

Two turnovers on Collegiate's first couple drives led to two early Andale touchdowns within the first three minutes of the game.

Even though the Spartans committed the most turnovers, the Indians had a few that Collegiate pounced on but couldn't capitalize off of.

Andale took a 40 point lead into halftime and let second and third stringers play the second half.
In those final two and a half minutes, the Spartans got their first points on the board to avoid the second straight shutout.

Andale closed out the game with a 47-7 victory over Collegiate.
The Spartans are now 4-2 on the season and the Indians are 6-0.
With two weeks left in the regular season, Andale will host Clearwater and Collegiate will host Haven in week 7.
