Hill City entered Friday night averaging just under 60 points a contest. That includes a loss in their opener, an 88-76 barnburner.
But the Clifton-Clyde defense was too much for the Ringnecks, holding the high powered offense to 14 points in a 50 point victory. The Eagles offense didn't complete a pass on the night, and they didn't have to. Drake Steinbrock rushed it 14 times for 166 yards while Christian Siefert added 139 yards on 14 carries himself to carry the load for the Clifton-Clyde offense.
