The Cheney Cardinals played host to Clearwater in a week four game that could mean a great deal to these two teams come playoff time. Cheney walked away with a 45-12 win over the Indians, giving Clearwater the first loss of the season.
Cheney was able to find success on offense early after a healthy dose of big plays. Zack Block was able to find Riley Petz through the air for a 42 yard touchdown in the first quarter.
The Cardinals also found points on defense early on. Rye-lan Doshier forced a fumble in the end zone, Zane Smith was waiting in the end zone for the clean recovery.
Cheney took a 26-3 lead into the half which held strong until the end of the game.
