Buhler scores 22 unanswered to get by Augusta

The Orioles then kept momentum going, holding the Crusaders on a 4th and 7 inside the 10 yard line on downs.

The Crusaders nearly lost it, with Sam Elliott fumbling a handoff late in the first before it was recover and taken deep into Augusta territory, setting up Elliott for a hard-earned score to make ti 15-7.

Elliot's backfield mate Sam Cruz was behind their next score, ripping off a 62 yard run to make it a 22-7 game, capping a scoring run for the Crusaders.

Augusta got the game back to four, combining a field goal and a QB sneak for the score from Hunter Anderson to make it 22-18, but McCurdy's second score of the game got the deficit back to 11 and Buhler wouldn't look back.

The 3-0 Crusaders head to Mulvane for a week four matchup ahead of a big rivalry game in McPherson to lead off the month of October. Augusta drops to 1-2 in the loss, but will head back home to host winless Wellington next Friday.
