TOPEKA, Kan. - For a sixth straight season, Bishop Miege will add a state championship trophy to the case as the Stags cruised by Andover Central 68-7 Saturday.
Miege started things with Carson Key taking back the opening kickoff 99 yards for a score, their first of three first quarter touchdowns to open up a 20-0 lead.
Timothy Dorsey was unstoppable under center for the Stags, throwing for five first half scores and rushing for another as Miege held a comfortable 49-0 lead at halftime.
Dorsey threw for one more score after the break to give him seven total touchdowns for the day as the Stags rolled to a 61 point win.
The loss ends Andover Central's year at 11-2, their second runner-up finish in school history, also falling to Miege in 2015.
