Andover Central rolls past Valley Center 59-46

Andover Central defeated Valley Center 59-46 to move on to 11-7 on the season.

Eli Isaacs gave the Hornets the first bucket of the game to put Valley Center up 2-0.

Next possession. Mason Burns gets the inbound for the Jaguars and pulls up for the floater in the lane to tie the game at two.

With five minutes left in the first quarter, Ray Flora drained a trey, the start of threes on back to back to back possessions,to give the Hornets a three point lead.

Andover Central answered with a three from Skyler Clevenger on the next possession to tie the game at seven all.

The Hornets had a 15-12 lead going into the second quarter, but by half the Jaguars led 38-20.

With the loss the Hornets drop to 8-10 on the season.

The Jaguars will next face rival Andover on Tuesday.

Valley Center will face Eisenhower on Monday.
