Collegiate and senior caption Maddie Reed struck first, but in the end it was a pair of goals in an under four minute span that put Andover Central ahead for good in what turned into a 3-1 road win for the Jaguars.
Reed connected from distance on ball that was tipped by Central keeper Brayden Wheatley, a lone blemish on what was otherwise a great day in net for the freshman.
Then with just over five minutes to go in the first half, Central got the equalizer, with another freshman in Elle Geoffroy dishing it to Noelle Schumann who buried the first goal for Andover Central.
Less than four minutes later, they took the lead behind a Cassandra Moeder goal which saw the sophomore take on the defense by herself, dribbling past a pair of defenders to set up the one-on-one look, leading to what ultimately became the game winning goal.
The second half was a mostly defensive showing until Tracy Orgera added a third Jaguar goal with just 10 seconds to play, sealing the Jaguar victory.
