In a matchup of top five class 4A teams, Andale used a big third set run to defeat defending champion Rose Hill on Thursday.
The 4th ranked Rockets took the first set 25-19, but the Indians would come storming back. In set two, #5 Andale carried a four point lead late before Rose Hill tied the match up at 22. The Indians got the lead to 24-22 before the teams traded points, leading to a 25-23 set win.
In the tiebreak set, Andale put their foot on the gas. Leading 15-11, the scored nine consecutive points to get the lead to 24-11, taking the third set in dominating fashion 25-12.
Andale and Rose Hill now both sit with identical 23-6 records after each squad also defeated Mulvane in the tri.
