For the fourth year, the Catch It Kansas student sections rankings are back!

In 2018, area student sections came out strong to start the year, causing a big shake up from our preseason rankings. Before we get to those, as always, here's a recap of past champions

Fall 2015: Garden City High School

Winter 2015-16: Berean Academy

Fall 2016: Goddard High School

Winter 2016-17: Andover High School

Fall 2017: Garden City High School

Winter: 2017-18: McPherson High School

Let's get to the rankings. Starting us out at the top...

(1) Andover Central

And all day tailgate for senior night? That's commitment. The Jags also showed out with a pink out come game time

That's how you end the year on top.

(2) Kapaun

Jersey nights are becoming pretty common. Dunk contests in the stands? That's something else. Although, my guy that was up second, we gotta talk about that cartwheel form...

(3) Derby

In maybe the biggest game of the season, Derby brought out their best. But it wasn't football only they came to support...

Yeah. That was a cold night. Y'all are crazy and we love you for it.

(4) Goddard

I've said it before in this space, the originality coming from Goddard this year has been unbelievable. 80s and 90s rock night, complete with karaoke! Love it.

(5) Andover

Andover has me wishing it was December already. Sure felt like it on Friday night.

(6) Hesston

We all love tailgates at high school games. But Hesston took it up a notch and tailgated at sub-state volleyball close to an hour away. I'm sure they get credit in sending the ladies to state this weekend.

(7) Salina South

Congrats, Cougars on breaking into the win column! The field rush was deserved. Great way to send the seniors out at home.

(8) Campus

Haysville was rocking! Between this showing and all that showed up to soccer regionals on Tuesday, The Screamin' Stampede's support was huge.

(9) Maize

Space night! And people painting NASA logos on themselves? That's how you welcome thousands of people for a huge game against Derby.

(10) Arkansas City

Not only do we have a loud soccer student section, but masks! Instruments! That gets the Bulldogs into the top ten.
