For the fourth year, the Catch It Kansas student sections rankings are back!

In 2018, area student sections came out strong to start the year, causing a big shake up from our preseason rankings. Before we get to those, as always, here's a recap of past champions

Fall 2015: Garden City High School

Winter 2015-16: Berean Academy

Fall 2016: Goddard High School

Winter 2016-17: Andover High School

Fall 2017: Garden City High School

Winter: 2017-18: McPherson High School

Let's get to the rankings. Starting us out at the top...

(1) Goddard

Horror movie night, and they bobbed for eyeballs in jello! First off--what. Second--congrats to The Den on being the first repeat number one of the year. Getting live for a volleyball match is enough to put one student section over the top. Closest vote by far in 2018.

(2) Kapaun

I'll be honest--I didn't even know they made that many different animal onesies. And to top it off with an unlikely battle of inflatables--y'all are weird. A good weird. But weird.

(3) Andover

I feel like I'm in a 90's country music video seeing this. And here's the thing--nobody in this video was even ALIVE when John Michael Montgomery released the Grundy County Auction.

(4) Garden City

Thunder is back! After coming up just shy of the top ten last week, the school went and brought in the live buffalo to get everyone hyped on a Friday.

(5) Derby

How do you even find the space to do this in the stands?! Derby has been knocking on the door of the top spot for awhile now. They're close.

(6) Salina Central

In the rain the Mustangs came out to support--and throw some shade at the opposing student section while they were at it.

(7) McPherson

This was a great turnout for a rivalry game on the road. Mac was loud, and had reason to be with the big win over Buhler.

(8) Andover Central

Back to back night the Jags showed out to show support. Love seeing support for non-football sports. Speaking of...

(9) Hesston

Hesston has been right there for weeks. This big of a turnout for volleyball--and a theme--will get you in the top ten.

(10) Campus

Salina is a long drive from Haysville, so I'll forgive the travel this week. Especially when you bring it for a soccer match like this.
