1 seed Andale has no issues with Rose Hill in Rupp Tournament

Four of the five Andale starters hit double figures as Andale had no problems knocking off Garden Plain in the opening round of the Adolph Rupp tournament Monday in Halstead.

The Indians lead the game wire to wire, including a 21-8 lead after one and a 43-20 score going to halftime.

Easton Hunter lead the way with 17 points for Andale, while Baron Biermann added 14 including going 4/6 from deep in the 72-37 win. The Indians hit 9 three pointers for the game, compared to 0 for the Owls.

Andale will face Haven Friday night in the semifinals of the tournament in Halstead. Garden Plain will try to bounce back against Rose Hill on Thursday.
