Andover Central holds off McPherson in 4A

WICHITA, Kan. (KWCH) - Andover Central led 28-7 after three quarters, then survived a McPherson rally to win 28-21 in the Class 4A quarterfinals Friday night.
McPherson (7-4) threw a late interception to seal the game for the Jaguars (8-3).
Andover Central, which lost three straight games in September and October, has won five in a row and advances to the 4A semifinals at Wamego next Friday.
