Derby routs Bishop Carroll behind strong first half

DERBY, Kan. (Catch It Kansas) - The Derby Panthers notched their second win of the season in the 42-point victory.

The Panthers offense scored in bunches early with 42 first-half points. Derby was led with multiple touchdown scores by junior WR/TE Da’saahn Brame and freshman running back Arieus Finley.

Bishop Carroll’s offense was stagnant, only managing one touchdown in both halves.

Derby head coach Brandon Clark says Friday night’s win was helped by every phase of the game.

“They play together, they don’t play for the individual, they play for the team,” Clark said. “When you got a team that loves each other and loves the game of football it’s fun to coach those guys.”
