WICHITA, Kan. (Catch it Kansas) - In 2022 the Hutchinson Salthawks played good football at the right time, as they were able to make a run to the state sectional game after a win over 5A power Bishop Carroll in the playoffs. Now with plenty of underclassmen from that team stepping up in 2023, Mike Vernon hopes his team can build on that momentum from the end of the season.
Hutchinson kicks off its season with a test right out of the gates with a road contest at Eisenhower.
