Andale wins 50th straight, defats Clay Center to advance to 3A title game
WICHITA, Kan. (Catch it Kansas) - Noah Eck scored four touchdowns, and Kelby Eck added a receiving score on a throw from Wyatt Spexarth as Andale defeated Clay Center 36-0 in the 3A West sub-state game.
Andale extends its win streak to 50-straight games with the victory, and the senior class has a chance to finish its careers 51-0 if the Indians knock off Holton in Hutchinson. Kickoff is set for 1 p.m. Saturday..
Clay Center won the toss and elected to receive, though the Tigers fumbled the ball on the second play, leading to Noah Eck’s first touchdown.
Clay Center fumbled the ball again, but the Indians were stuffed on a fourth-down try.
But the Indians dominated the rest of the way, pitching a shut out on their way to the win.
