GYPSUM, Kan. (Catch it Kansas) - Southeast of Saline continues their perfect season and their journey towards a state title in 2A, winning over Hoisington 44-21.

The Trojans offense was too much for Hoisington to handle all night long. Friday marks the ninth time this season Southeast of Saline scored 40 or more points in a game.

Southeast of Saline moves to 11-0 this season and wins the sectional round to continue their state title run.

“Hoisington is a great football team and we knew that coming into it,” Mitch Gebhardt, Southeast of Saline Head Coach said. “I felt like our kids did a god job of battling tonight.”

Southeast of Saline will meet up with undefeated Kingman next Friday, Nov. 18. Winner of this game will move on to the 2A state championship.

Hoisington ends their 2022 campaign with an 8-3 record.
