Derby hangs 55 first half points in rout of Lawrence
DERBY, Kan. (Catch it Kansas) - Another strong performance on the offensive side from the Derby Panthers was too much for the Lawrence Lions to handle. Panthers win 76-28 and advance to next week’s sectional round.
Notre Dame commit and Panthers running back Dylan Edwards was sensational, scoring six total touchdowns. Five of Edwards’ six touchdowns came in the first half, propelling the Panthers to a 33-point first half lead.
On Friday night Derby showed up in every phase of the game, showing why they have a chance to win the state title in 6A.
