WICHITA, Kan. (Catch it Kansas) - Wichita Northwest scored on its first seven possessions of the first half, routing Heights 52-6 for its first win of the season.
Jayce Glasper opened the game with a rushing score because Dontrell Harris’ interception set up a passing score from Galsper to Michael Lopez.
Heights QB DJ Dingle was stripped in the end zone early in the second quarter, and Northwest recovered for a 24-0 lead.
LJ Phillips powered in for a rushing touchdown as Northwest jumped out to a 45-6 lead at halftime.
