ANDOVER, Kan. (Catch it Kansas) - The end was not like the beginning, as Andover overcame an early double digit deficit to top Arkansas City, 45-27.

Ark City exploded out of the gates, as Gabe Welch was hitting long completion, after long completion on the way to a 14-0 lead in the 1st quarter. But Andover got things under control after that point, scoring 39 unanswered points after falling behind early.

Andover travels to Goddard in week 3. Ark City gets another tough test, at home against Andover Central.
