Southeast tops South on senior night
Southeast closes home schedule with win
WICHITA, Kan. (Catch it Kansas) - After taking a one point lead to halftime, the Wichita Southeast Golden Buffaloes would boost their game to take over the second half, topping Wichita South, 46-37.
It would require a full team effort in the scoring category for the Buffaloes to find a way on top. Fortunately for Southeast, five different scorers felt up for the task.
RaMya Kennedy and Jahkia Jones each tied with a team-high eleven points, followed by Nyah Chandler with 10. Tatem Adair and JaSyra Kennedy would round out the scoring attack with 8 and 6, respectively.
South would be led by the Butler sisters, Mahogany and Zion. The former finishing with a game-high 16 points while the latter added 12 to the Titan total. Serenity Jackson added 5 points, paced by Madison Bradley with 3.
Both teams are set to close out the regular season on the road.
