WICHITA, Kan. (Catch it Kansas) - Wichita Southeast owned three quarters in its 53-43 win over Wichita South. Despite facing a double digit deficit after the first quarter, the Buffaloes found a way to come alive to finish.

After giving up 20 points to the Titans, Southeast was able to reverse its fortune thanks to a 17-8 second quarter that allowed them to enter halftime only trailing by 3. After intermission, the Buffs were able to string together a second half that would elevate them despite a late comeback attempt.

Southeast would see four scorers finish in double-figures. Leading the way for the Buffaloes was junior Mason Le with 17 points, followed by Keaton Williams with 16. Makel Carter added 14 and would be paced by Asa Barnes with 10.

Wichita South would also see a trio of players each with good games on the offensive side of the floor. Jaylen Maze finished with a team high 16 points. TJ Neal followed Maze’s lead with 14 while Aven Mboule added 13.
